The re-birth of the Golden Civic Centre has been undertaken with the significant proactive contribution of financial support from our regional, provincial and federal partners. We thank them for their confidence in our plans to re-birth the hall as Golden’s dedicated cultural space.
In the new year, the Civic Centre Redevelopment will begin a local fundraising campaign to secure the necessary remaining funds. In the meantime though it is extremely gratifying to have received unsolicited donations (see list below).
In particular, the following letter from Bill & Kaye Dainard – along with their contribution of $500 – sums up the power of feelings that Goldenites have for the Civic Centre.
